Automotive Brake Handles
Automotive Brake Handles
Automotive brake handles serve as a separate brake system in vehicles and can be used when there is some failure in the car's primary brake system. They are also called emergency brakes or parking brakes.

Materials used for making Automotive Brake Handles:
They are usually crafted of aluminium with a leather insert towards the top.

Automobile emergency brake usually consists of a cable, connected directly to the brake mechanism on one end and a lever on the other. The lever is in the form of a handle on the floor between the driver and front passenger or a pedal in front of the driver.

Brake handles offer a wide variety of colors and finishes to match the vehicle's interior.

Installation of Brake Handles
The automotive emergency brake handles are not universal in fit. They use a car specific adapter and/or boot to mount.

Uses of Automotive Brake Handles:
  • Keep the vehicle motionless when the vehicle is parked.
  • Assists while starting on steep inclines or for initiating handbrake turns.
  • When the handle is placed on the central configuration, it can be activated both by the driver and the front passenger.
