Commercial vehicles
are those vehicles that are used for hire or for commercial purpose on
the highways. They can be used for commercial purposes such as in the
transportation of goods, wares and merchandise and motor coaches
carrying passengers; including trailers and semitrailers and tractors
when used in combination with trailers and semitrailers. They can be
broadly classified as:
- Goods-carrying commercial vehicle
- Passenger-carrying commercial vehicle
