The
Windscreen,
also known as
windshield, is the transparent screen
mounted on the front of the two wheeler vehicle. A windscreen used in
two wheelers has built-in wind relief properties. It straightens out air
that skips the rider's body thereby increasing comfort and lessening
gust of strong wind. They protect the occupants of the two wheeler from
wind, temperature extremes and flying debris such as dust, insects and
rocks.
Materials used for making Windscreen
Windscreens are generally made of the following materials:
- Modern windshields are generally made of two sheets of curved
glass with a plastic layer laminated between them for safety.
